These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of tickets, annual passes, gift cards, and physical products, including books, via the Krokodille Zoo website.
By purchasing, the customer accepts the terms and conditions in force at any given time.
All prices are stated in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include VAT and taxes, where applicable. Any VAT information will be shown at the time of payment.
Krokodille Zoo reserves the right to price errors, printing errors, technical errors, sold-out items, and force majeure.
Orders are placed via the website, where customers automatically receive an order confirmation by email after completing a purchase. It may happen that the order confirmation ends up in the customer's spam folder. We therefore encourage customers to check their spam folder before contacting customer service.
Krokodille Zoo accepts the following payment methods as standard:
Payments are debited immediately upon purchase or pre-order, provided there are sufficient funds on the payment card.
When purchasing books as pre-orders, payment is taken at the time of order, as the order is included in the production basis.
Krokodille Zoo basically sells the following ticket types:
Tickets will be delivered electronically to the email address provided by the customer at the time of purchase.
Tickets are generally valid for up to 30 days from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase. After this, the ticket will expire without refund, unless customer service has approved an extension.
National Zoo and Combo tickets may be restricted to specific dates or events.
Attempts to cheat with tickets will result in expulsion from Krokodille Zoo.
Annual passes are valid for the season for which the pass is purchased and are personal. Annual passes are non-refundable.
Tickets and annual passes are leisure activities with a limited period of validity and are therefore generally not covered by the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts Act.
Refunds can only be granted after a specific individual assessment.
Gift cards can be used according to the conditions stated at the time of purchase.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and any remaining balance will not be paid out in cash or refunded to the payment card.
When pre-ordering books and other physical products, the following applies:
The customer can cancel the pre-order before dispatch by contacting customer service. The full amount will then be refunded.
Physical products are generally only sent within Denmark. Separate arrangements are required for international shipments.
Packaging and shipping costs are included in the price shown on the product page, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping is mainly via PostNord, GLS or DAO.
The risk of the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.
When purchasing physical products, the customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day the goods are received.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact Krokodille Zoo before the deadline expires.

The item must be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity as when received.
The customer is only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Refunds will be issued upon receipt and assessment of the returned item.
A 24-month warranty is provided in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act on physical products.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered.

Upon successful claim, the following will be offered depending on the situation:

All purchases are subject to Danish law. Any disputes will be settled in accordance with Danish legislation.
